Kinja'd!!!

From the April 2015 issue of Collectible Automobile, for the 68-72 Cutlass fans:

Kinja'd!!!

Pretty sweet deal. The guy took a ton of glamour shots of the car some time last summer. Then made 5x7 prints, and gave me a disc with all the pictures about a week later. He said he can also make a poster sized print of a few if I wanted too. I also got a free copy of the magazine and can order more at half price.

A pair of my favorites from the shoot.

Nice! I've been in a magazine, too...

Some friends and I entered the Grassroots Motorsports $2004 Challenge with this car. That's me driving it on the autocross course. We were amazed to place in the top half of the pack with relatively minimal mods.

minimize how much we suck in the drag race.

I said that. Can you tell?

Very cool! Our 56 got the cover and featured in Kustoms Illustrated issue #40. Since being the cover car it was also that issues "baseball card" that subscribers get.

What model is this? I must admit I am only familiar with the Bel Air body style.

Yea, I knew about those. I looked at pictures first, then read about the custom body work.

My dad's old Celica TA40 was featured in two magazines, one of which was a 20 car feature on Japanese vehicles. It was nice to see it featured alongside cars like an Integra, an NSX and R-34 GT-R. I need to scan both of them someday.

Even though they had low compression motors, 71-72 is pretty much the best year for the Cutlass.

Best axles of the GM A-bodies (unless it was a Canadian car), understressed motor, no smog, and good parts availability.
